"911 dispatcher could hear shots over the phone," Thomas said.
"So how lucky were the employees?" FOX 26 asked.
"They need to go to church on Sunday. One employee was standing behind his vehicle or was Devine intervention," Thomas added.
When asked about the suspect, who was arrested in a nearby neighborhood, Thomas said, "he was making some strange and weird comments. But I'm not going to give you the details of those. He was acting very erratic."
No other injuries were reported to anyone other than the initial employee.
