HCSO: Suspect tried to run over deputy, struck woman in parking lot

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (FOX 26) - Harris County Sheriff's Office officials say a suspect is in custody after allegedly trying to run a deputy over with their jeep.

The deputy was responding to a shots fired call in the 8700 block of Airline Drive.

HCSO says at the scene a suspect attempted to run the deputy over with their jeep, but struck another person, a female.

Deputies say the suspect was taken into custody 400 block of west Gulf Bank Road.
