Harris County deputies find fentanyl-laced pills, meth in hotel room during welfare check

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - When managers of a Spring hotel were not able to get guests in one hotel room to answer the door on Wednesday, they called Harris County Constable, Pct. 4 for a welfare check on the people inside the room.

The backstory:
Deputies arrived at the hotel in the 16200 block of the North Freeway.
They found 48-year-old August Huber and 37-year-old Justin Antley occupying a hotel room past the checkout time and were refusing to answer the door for management.
Deputies found pills laced with fentanyl, methamphetamine, Xanax, Oxycodone and other assorted pills.
The arrest
What we know:
Huber and Antley were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Antley also had an open warrant from Pardons and Parole.
What we don't know:
Their bond and court information have not been set at this time.
