The jury in Terry Thompson's retrial found him guilty of murder Monday. In May 2017, Thompson killed John Hernandez by putting him in a choke hold during a fight in a Denny's parking lot. His wife, a Harris County deputy at the time, was also charged with murder and is awaiting trial.

A newlywed couple had been in their wedding helicopter only five to ten minutes before it crashed, killing them and their pilot. They had just had their fairytale wedding at a family ranch west of San Antonio Saturday.

"Saturday Night Live" actor Pete Davidson is facing criticism for a joke he made this weekend about former Navy Seal and Texas Republican congressional candidate Dan Crenshaw. Davidson made fun of Crenshaw's injury he sustained during his third tour in Afghanistan.

If you heard the booms along the coast today, they were caused by a F-18 fighter plane. NASA is conducting a series of experiments in an effort to make air travel faster.
