Former President George H.W. Bush hospitalized

Earlier this evening, we learned president George H.W. Bush was hospitalized, just one day after his wife Barbara was laid to rest.

A spokesperson for the Bush family confirms Bush is recovering after he was hospitalized on Sunday after contracting an infection that spread to his blood.

The 93-year-old reportedly was "broken-hearted" over the loss of his beloved Barbara. She was laid to rest this weekend.

The former president's spokesperson also released a statement saying, “The 41st President wants to go to Maine this summer. He’s the most goal-oriented person on the planet, and I would not bet against him.”
