Flash flood warnings for Houston area

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in effect until 11:45 p.m. Tuesday for the following counties:

  • Northwestern Galveston
  • Northern Brazoria
  • Southern Harris 

A flash flood warning is in effect until 1:30 a.m. Wednesday for the following counties:

  •   Northeastern Colorado
  •   Northeastern Wharton 
  •   Southeastern Austin 
  •   Fort Bend 
  •   Harris
  •   Northwestern Brazoria
  •   Northwestern Galveston 
  •   North central Brazoria
  •   West central Chambers
  •   Southwest Houston area

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch in effect until 2:00 a.m. Wednesday for the following counties:

  • Chambers
  • Galveston
  • Harris
  • Fort Bend
  • Brazoria
  • Wharton
