Extreme measures to keep warm for elderly war veteran
TEXAS CITY, Texas (FOX 26) - The cold weather and significant damage from Hurricane Harvey is making for an extremely cold winter for flood survivors. That especially holds true for an 88-year-old war veteran from Texas City. His roof has caved in and he has resorted to using a gas stove in order to keep warm. FOX 26 News photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires shares his story.
