Evidence under review in Darian Ward investigation

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Through a brief statement released to FOX 26 News, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg confirms Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner's press secretary is under investigation.

Darian Ward was suspended without pay for two weeks in December for using city time and resources to benefit her own side business. She failed to submit thousands of emails related to the business, according to the City of Houston Legal Department. 

"We will review the evidence and apply the law once the evidence is received from the City of Houston's Office of Inspector General," said Ogg in the statement.
