Elderly woman shoots home invader in west Harris Co

Harris Co., Texas (FOX 26) - A person was found dead in a yard in west Harris County on Monday morning.

Harris County deputies report that an elderly lady shot someone who was trying to break into her home on the 20-thousand block of Fort Bowie Ct.

Deputies are still on the scene.

The identity of the alleged home invader is unknown.
