Drive-by rifle rounds pierce garage, teen wounded

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say several rifle rounds fired from a vehicle pierced through a home garage and at least one of them struck an 18-year-old man in the head, leaving him in critical condition. He is expected to survive his injuries.

Officers arrived on Sunday night to a home on Chanteloup Drive near West Orem Drive in southeast Houston in response to a reported shooting.

Houston police took one male into custody.
