Deputies investigating a stabbing in Katy and a shooting in Missouri City

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Deputies are investigating a deadly stabbing in Katy. It happened around 10:00 at a home on Telegraph Square.

Deputies say one person was stabbed inside the home. It's unclear if any arrests have been made.

Also new this morning a woman is dead after being shot several times in Missouri city on Sandy Knoll.

The woman was shot as she tried to open the front door.

The women was rushed to Memorial Hermann where she died.
