Deadly shooting in east Harris County

Harris County Sheriff's Department is investigating a deadly shooting in east Harris County near Baytown.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to the shooting on the 1900-block of Jones Road.

There are reports that there are at least two shooting victims.

At least one victim was transported by helicopter.

Officials tell us another patient died.

Homicide investigators are on the scene.
