Comedian Jimmie Walker performing in Houston
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Jimmie Walker is practically inseparable to fans from his role as J.J. Evans on the 1970s sitcom "Good Times," which aired for five seasons on CBS and has been syndicated on many networks in the years since.
While he has portrayed plenty of characters in projects such as "Going Bananas" and "Airplane!," Walker has also continued his stand-up comedy career for more than four decades.
Walker will be performing at Joke Joint Comedy Showcase in southeast Houston at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25, and at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 26. He will also be appearing at Comicpalooza at the George R. Brown Convention Center on May 25, May 26 and May 27, including an hour-long question and answer session.
