HOUSTON - The holiday and winter weather have caused the City of Houston's Solid Waste Management Department to adjust its collection schedule for the rest of the week.

Houston Trash Pick Up Schedule

Garbage collection and heavy trash services are going to run two days behind schedule this week.

All curbside recycling, tree and yard waste collections will be suspended through Jan. 26, 2025.

Timeline:

Thursday, Jan. 23

Monday's garbage and heavy trash are expected to be collected.

Friday, Jan. 24

Tuesday's garbage and heavy trash are expected to be collected.

Saturday, Jan. 25

Thursday's garbage and heavy trash are expected to be collected.

Sunday, Jan. 26

Friday's garbage and heavy trash are expected to be collected.
