Captain William Dowling brought home to Tomball

At Hobby Airport friends and family of Captain William Dowling gathered to pay their respects to a man who worked for the Houston Fire Department for 13 years.

A procession began in the morning in Durango, Colorado where Dowling was living, his plane landed at Hobby Airport Saturday afternoon. He was then escorted to Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, where members of his family and the community gathered to pay their respects.

On May 31st of 2013 Dowling was injured in the Southwest Inn fire. The fire also killed four other Houston fire fighters.
