Galveston county Judge Mark Henry under fire from an unlikely source, his wife. Amy Henry filed a state ethics complaint against her husband last year. Amy Henry filed a complaint against her husband last year when the couple was contemplating divorce. Mrs. Henry alleged that the Judge ordered her, as his campaign treasurer, to funnel $62,000 of political contributions into a private business, they owned together. Henry's opponent, District Judge Lonnie Cox, could benefit from the embarrassing disclosure, except, he's also on the defensive, accused of accepting deeply discounted legal fees from a lawyer practicing in his court and of leaking the Henry ethics complaint from confidential divorce records.
