Bystanders save blind man after he falls onto subway tracks before train comes

A blind man who fell onto train tracks at a Maryland subway is okay, thanks to a group of good Samaritans that helped him back onto a platform.

The incident happened at the Medical Center Metro Station on April 9 when the man, who uses a cane, took a tumble over the edge onto the tracks.

A train was close by, and bystanders quickly jumped in to help the man.

In a video recorded by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the bystanders can be seen working to help get the man up.

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority said that transit police and medics responded and the man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
