Body found in Lake Livingston during search for missing woman

Police say the body of a missing woman was recovered from Lake Livingston on Sunday.

The body was found during a search for missing 51-year-old Cheryl Hall who was last seen leaving work in Huntsville on January 3. Onalaska police say the body is confirmed to be Hall, and this is not being investigated as a suspicious death. The body has been sent for autopsy to determine how she died.

A firefighter searching on Sunday was looking from a bridge when he saw the body in a shallow area of the lake.

Cheryl's vehicle was discovered Friday. Firefighters searched Saturday with a boat. On Sunday morning, Texas Equusearch organized a search in Onalaska.
