Board president explains decision to cancel classes on Tuesday

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Houston Independent School District is just one of many in southeast Texas to close its operations on Tuesday following a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service. It is a first for HISD to cancel classes ahead of the weather alert. Isiah Carey interviews HISD Board of Education president Wanda Adams who explains the district's decision process.
