Black cat crosses path of hockey team on ice

The San Jose sharks have had a lot of bad luck in the postseason over the years. They've never once managed to make it to the Stanley Cup Final in 25 years.

However, with how quickly they managed to dispatch the Los Angeles kings in the first round, perhaps they're changing their fortunes.

But, then again, maybe not.

For reasons that remain unclear at this point, there was a black cat in sap center before game 1 between the Sharks and the Nashville Predators.

Officials were still trying to figure out how it got in there, but if that wasn't weird enough, it got stranger.

The small black cat made its way onto the ice, exiting from the door to the Predators bench and then walked right in front of the Sharks' bench, all the way to the corner where the cat exited through another door.
