Bayou City Buzz: Evening Chill at Houston Zoo
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Houston Zoo is considered one of the top 10 zoos in the country, with over 2 million visitors yearly. They provide housing, medical care, meals, and even education to over 6,000 animals from over 900 species.
This weekend, you have a chance to get up close to some of those species...at night, when temps are a little more comfortable.
The Evening Chill will take place in the African Forest -the zoo's most ambitious project costing 40 million dollars.
This Friday they’re featuring the rhinos and giraffes.
