GALVESTON, Texas (FOX 26) - Today marks Juneteenth, 152 years after the announcement that slaves in Texas were free. That announcement was in Galveston. FOX 26 Photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires shows us an annual ceremony at Ashton Villa that reenacts the historic moment.
