GALVESTON, Texas (FOX 26) - Did you know that the pirate Jean Laffite had a fortress on Galveston Island before it was even known as Galveston?

The internationally known Laffite Society is based right on the island. One of its members surprised her husband with a very unique Father's Day gift.
