$42,000 in stolen items located by authorities in Montgomery County, 2 arrested
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Two people are behind bars after authorities found $42,000 in stolen items this week in Montgomery County.
48-year-old Vladmir Vanegas Bolanos, and 41-year-old Luz Johanna Usuga Garcia were charged with felony theft.
According to officials, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office District 6 Patrol Division were called out to a theft call on Market Street in The Woodlands.
During the investigation, deputies were given a description of the suspects and their vehicle, but were not initially able to locate the suspects.
However, three days later, deputies from the Montgomery County Crime Reduction Unit successfully located the suspects and recovered the stolen property.

Officials believe the stolen items were taken from retail centers in Montgomery and Harris County.

Authorities said while the suspects are in custody, detectives are working to ensure the stolen merchandise is returned to its rightful owners.
