1 man killed, another man injured in shooting

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - One man is dead after he and another man were shot at a northwest Harris County home late on Thursday night.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 5  patrol unit deputies arrived to the home on Bexhill Drive near Fallwood Drive at around 11 p.m. Thursday in response to a reported disturbance.

Both men were taken to Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital where one of the men was pronounced dead and the other was treated for his injuries and released. The man who survived was the owner of the home where the shooting was reported. His roommate was the man who died.

The shooting suspect and an person of interest drove away from the crime scene in a white Dodge Charger. He is described as a black man in his 20s who stands at a height of approximately 6-feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. and in his 20’s.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office has identified the person of interest as 21-year-old Ambrea Lee Evans.
