Rain focus north today
Warm, humid air is in place across Southeast Texas making it feel almost like early summer. The better coverage for rain looks to stay north of Houston, mainly from late morning into the afternoon, with isolated showers closer to Houston.
Storm alert Saturday
Saturday brings the highest concern for more widespread storms. Some could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds, and even localized flooding, especially later in the day and possibly overnight into very early Sunday.
Rain for Easter morning
Showers and storms may linger into Easter Sunday, with the best chance early in the day. Expect muddy grass and wet morning, with improving conditions possible later in the afternoon.
