Talk about amazing weather - the next three days are looking outstanding with lots of afternoon sun, some clear brisk overnight temperatures and low humidity in place. Afternoon high temps will range from the upper 70s to the middle 80s and decent weather should stay with us through Saturday. Unfortunately, it looks like rain will return with a chance for thunderstorms Sunday, and the latest models are still showing rain for the day of the total solar eclipse. Hopefully, the clouds will clear out for at least a little while for us to see the eclipse, but chances are not looking great at this time.

A cold front has pushed through the Houston area and will gradually bring in cooler air tonight. Look for a few chilly mornings in the 50s and 40s with sunny and mild afternoons. Clouds get thicker and showers return on Sunday and Monday. That means that it will still get darker during the total solar eclipse Monday but we may not get the best view for Houston. But we'll have coverage all across the eclipse path on Monday to get you views from many different angles in different cities. Best chance for rain & storms will be from 2-7am Tuesday for Houston although a few storms could clip Bryan & College Station closer to midnight. Cold from will move in bringing cooler & drier air for Wednesday and Thursday. These will likely be the nicest days of the week with loads of sunshine and cool mornings. It's going to snow today...April fools (we?re required to do that). Seriously, it's going to be windy & muggy today with a chance for showers and storms overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. Once that system passes, we're looking great late Tuesday through Friday with brisk mornings and sunny days. Unfortunately, the solar eclipse forecast is still trending toward clouds and even some rain. I sure hope that doesn't happen.

Happy Easter! We have a warm and humid day ahead with mostly cloudy skies and southerly breezes. There is the chance for an isolated sprinkle this morning, but it shouldn?t impact any outdoor festivities. Temperatures continue to warm on Monday with highs in the mid-80s. Passing showers and isolated storms are expected to move to into Houston Tuesday morning. Lovely spring weather returns by the end of next week with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.

Easter Sunday will look a lot like Saturday across Southeast Texas, mostly cloudy and breezy. Humidity continues to slowly increase and afternoon temperatures will climb into the 80s. Look for Monday to also be warm and breezy with our next change in the pattern coming Tuesday morning with some showers and storms moving through Houston. Make some outdoor plans for the second half of the week with afternoons back in the 70s and mornings in the 50s.
