Mostly sunny skies make way for highs to reach the mid-60s today. Southeast Texas remains dry and cool this weekend. A disturbance along the Texas coast will bring a rise in rain chances midweek. Temperatures and humidity will also increase by the middle and end of next week. Today is the last day of the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane season. There were 18 names storms, 11 hurricanes and 5 major. This was a very impactful season along the Gulf Coast with 5 land falling hurricanes. This was also the second costliest season on record in the Atlantic.
