The grass is getting pretty dry outside due to the lack of rain in certain areas from September. Until we hear more about that tomorrow, we're enjoying a nice Wednesday morning with a hot afternoon to kick off October. Rain will return as we enter the weekend and early next week.

Houston weather: Warming trend to continue for Wednesday
Average high temperatures for the end of September and beginning of October are around 87 degrees, but we'll continue our trend of low to mid 90s for the next few days with only slight changes for the weekend. Beginning Friday, look for a slight chance for light showers, otherwise, it's just going to be more of the same, unusually warm weather.

There are clear skies for Tuesday morning, as we began to warm up in the afternoon to the low 90s. There is a chance fore a few light showers this coming weekend but not a lot.

We should get warmer for much of this week - highs could range from around 92-94 most days with morning low temperatures not quite as cool. Look for upper 60s to low 70s as opposed to low to mid 60s. With a very warm & mostly dry pattern in place, ozone levels are higher and another Air Quality Alert has been issued for Tuesday.
