Wednesday evening weather forecast with Meteorologist Remeisha Shade
It's been a mostly cloudy day with some spotty light rain. Temperatures have also been a little cooler today. Enjoy the cooler weather because temperatures really soar this weekend and early next week! Tonight should be quiet with only a slim shot for an isolated shower and pleasant with overnight lows in the 50s to low 60s. Another wave of mainly spotty light rain moves on Thursday morning through the afternoon. These showers could impact the Astros Opening Day Street Fest scheduled from 3-6 PM. However, the rain is expected to make an exit near the Astros & White Sox First Pitch at 6:08 PM. The rain chance by then will only be around 10%. Temperatures near First Pitch should be in the low-middle 70s with mostly cloudy skies. Look for a few PM storms Friday as a powerful system passes mainly to our north. The best chance for thunder will be in our northern counties Friday. Saturday will be warmer with only isolated rain. But look for a better chance for storms Sunday PM. We really crank up the heat early next week with temperatures near 90 Monday and Tuesday. Have a great night and don't forget to grab the FOX 26 Weather App from the app store!
