Texans' Wilfork all about helping the kids
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Vince Wilfork spent time on Tuesday with kids at Looscan Elementary, where he is helping to renovate their playground.
The Texans defensive tackle's foundation has already started installing new playground equipment and will eventually create a new concrete walking trail with picnic areas.
On Tuesday, Wilfork helped lead the kids through relay races, brought some Bar-B-Q, and in general, just brought with him a fun atmosphere for the children.
"We never do anything for any recognition," Wilfork said. "We've been doing stuff for a long time. This is my first thing I've done in Houston. This is the first of many, though, so I'm looking forward to it. It's good to see these kids smile."
