Texans lose Brian Cushing for four to six weeks

Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee and will miss four to six weeks.

Cushing, who suffered the injury in the first quarter, walked off the field and underwent an MRI that revealed the MCL sprain.

The results of the MRI indicate that Cushing will not have to undergo a procedure.

Max Bullough replaced Cushing, and tied for the team lead in tackles with five.
