Rockets reach deal with power forward Ryan Anderson
HOUSTON - The Houston Rockets land one of the players they were targeting, in reaching a contract agreement with power forward Ryan Anderson on a four-year deal worth $80 million, NBA sources confirmed.
An eight-year veteran, Anderson spent the last four seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans.
During the 2015-16 season Anderson averaged 17 points and six rebounds.
For his career he is averaging nearly 38 per cent from distance.
Anderson has also played for the New Jersey Nets (2008-09) and the Orlando Magic (2009-12).
