HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The Rockets held a players-only meeting on Tuesday to try to snap them out of their funk.
Houston has lost four straight games to fall to 4-7. Currently, there are only five teams in the entire league with a worse record.
"We just brought everything up in the meeting," Ty Lawson said. "We got all the feelings that everybody had, just the communication, we got it out there. We're on the same page now.
"We just had to get on the same page and everybody got the message," the point guard added. "Everything doesn't happen overnight, but I think that the one thing out of that meeting was on the defensive end, that we should all be on the same page."
Lawson's words were echoed by his Rockets teammates.
"We're here to say that we're all in this together," James Harden said. "You might be struggling, but just know that somebody's got your back. That's what we needed to talk about."
"What happens in the room, stays in the room," Dwight Howard said. "It was good for us to sit down and talk."
