Woman shot on Rusty Ridge Lane in west Harris County

HOUSTON - A woman was found shot in the street in a west Harris County neighborhood on Wednesday, authorities say.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the shooting occurred on Rusty Ridge Lane, near North Fry Road and Arbor Creek Drive.

A man, the alleged shooter, remained at the scene, the sheriff says.
