Woman, dog shot by officer during warrant service
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police officers are investigating an officer-involved shooting Thursday morning.
It happened on the 7700 block of Greenstone, where an officer discharged their weapon while serving a federal warrant.
Police say a woman in the home let go of an aggressive dog, and the officer shot the dog and the woman in the hand.
The suspect who was being served was not injured.
A woman was transported to a Memorial Hermann hospital.
