WATCH: Flint pastor interrupts Trump asking him not to 'give a political speech'

Donald Trump visited Michigan on Wednesday to see the Flint water crisis firsthand, but during his speech at the Bethel United Methodist Church, only got to speak for a few minutes.

Trump initially started talking about the water crisis, but when he started attacking his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, the pastor interrupted him and told him to stop because that was not part of their agreement.

"Excuse me, Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we've done in Flint, not to give a political speech," the pastor said.

"Oh, okay, that's good. And I'm going to go back onto Flint," Trump replied, and quickly shifted his focus back to Flint.

"They had plans to make it a little more than they had originally said, and I said no, you're going to stick to the original plan," Pastor Faith Green Timmons later told FOX 2's Charlie Langton on why she interrupted him.

Her interruption was met with a few claps, but not everyone was glad.

"The problem was, there were persons from the opposite side that came to the meeting that didn't allow him to finish his speech," said Ira Combs, who heard the speech.

The speech only lasted about two minutes after protesters also interrupted.
