Trump's Inauguration Day viewing, parade moved to Capital One Arena

President-elect Trump confirms his second inauguration will be moved indoors, due to the snow and cold temperatures.

The Inauguration Address along with other speeches will be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, according to Trump.

How to attend Inauguration Day 2025 at Capital One Arena

What we know:

According to Trump, Capital One Arena will be open on Monday for live viewing of his inauguration address. He took to social media platform Truth Social to share the news.

"We will open Capital One Arena on Monday for LIVE viewing of this Historic event, and to host the Presidential Parade. I will join the crowd at Capital One, after my Swearing In," he shared.
 
"All other events will remain the same, including the Victory Rally at Capital One Arena, on Sunday at 3 P.M. (Doors open at 1 P.M.—Please arrive early!), and all three Inaugural Balls on Monday evening."

Trump stated that he will make an appearance at Capital One Arena to host the presidential parade following his swearing-in ceremony. 

Historically, each Member of Congress receives a limited number of tickets to the swearing-in ceremony to distribute to constituents. 

Tickets to the ceremony are free and in high-demand. 220,000 tickets had been planned for distribution for attendees entering the Capitol Grounds. 

Anyone who is interested in attending Inauguration Day should contact their Senators or Representative for information about acquiring tickets.
