HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting and crash in southwest Houston. Investigators say five people were in a car when it crashed along west Sam Houston toll way and Harwin. Two people had been shot. One of the victims later died in the hospital.  No one is in custody.

 

A shooting on the campus of Texas Southern University is under investigation. At 10 p.m. some sort of disturbance happened on the tiger walk near the recreation center.  Moments later someone shot a 25-year-old man in the stomach.  He was taken to the hospital and in serious condition.

 

A man is in custody after leading police on a chase in north Houston. It happened around 1 a.m. when officers tried to stop a driver outside a gas station that is notorious for drug dealing on Yale and Crosstimbers. The man took off, and may have tossed drugs out of the window. Officers arrested him on east 42nd and oxford.
