Toddler found in street in southwest Houston
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police have located the parents of a toddler who was found wandering in the street in front of the entrance to an apartment complex in southwest Houston.
Police were called out to the scene on Ranchester Drive around 4:20 a.m. Thursday.
A man says he was driving to work when he saw the baby wandering in the street and crying. He parked and tried to find the baby's parents. He then called police.
The 18-month-old boy is safely with police and is being checked out. Police located the baby's parents at the apartment complex. They were reportedly sleeping and the child was able to get out of the apartment unit.
Police are investigating the incident.
