Teenagers break-in to upscale Katy home to party, steal, and spend the night

Imagine having a group of teens turning your house into party central.

Not only did they drink the homeowners wine and steal several high dollar items, the intruders even spent the night.

We blurred the faces of the teens since they are juveniles, but they are easily recognizable to anyone who knows them.

The home is in Cinco Ranch Southwest in Katy.

“I’ve cried every single day, I don’t know what else to tell you,” said homeowner Tanikka Harris. "I’m going to move."

Harris says she was out of town when all of this happened a couple of weeks ago. She doesn't return until Saturday.

It will be the first time she sees firsthand what the teens did to her home.

“I don’t even want to come home because I don’t want to come home to see this, it is disheartening,” she said.

Harris says her 13-year-old nephew told a friend that his aunt was gone for a few weeks, but the teen didn’t invite the others inside.

The teens posted flyers about the party and apparently gained entry through a balcony door.

They drank, smoked pot, and even spent the night.

Harris says the teens stole designer handbags, luggage, shoes, and $8,200 in cash.

She says the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department told her arrests aren’t likely since all those involved are juveniles.
