SWAT team surrounds home after man attacks woman with scissors
HOUSTON, TX - Investigators say a man was barricaded inside his home after what police called a domestic disturbance in Acres Homes in northwest Houston. HPD's SWAT team is on the scene, surrounding a home in the 8000 block of Hezekiah near Esther.
The victim, the suspect's girlfriend managed to escape the home safely. Initial reports from the scene say that the man attacked the woman with a pair of scissors at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday morning. SWAT is now responding to the scene. The suspect is now in custody.
