Suspect in custody after Houston officer fires weapon

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police have taken a suspect into custody after an officer fired his weapon toward that suspect in southwest Houston.

The Houston Police Department officer fired the weapon in the intersection of Almeda Road and West Fuqua at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect is in custody and was not wounded. The officer was not injured.
