Police stop car covered by massive Christmas tree

It looks like someone's planning a massive Christmas celebration. Police in Massachusetts spotted a car carrying a huge Christmas tree on its roof, with its back windshield totally covered in tree limbs. "Officers in Sudbury, Massachusetts have a message for those planning on picking up their Christmas trees for the holiday season: "Do it responsibly!"

Sudbury Police Department shared a photo to its Facebook page of a blue vehicle almost completely covered by a large Christmas tree attached to its roof on November 24.

“Sudbury PD would like to remind you to transport your Holiday trees responsibly. One of our officers stopped this vehicle on Route 20 today,” the post read. The post had earned over 1,200 shares at the time of writing.

"Looks like the Griswold mobile," one user commented, referencing the Chevy Chase movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

The Facebook post didn't indicate if the person behind the wheel was cited.
