Mental health & shootings

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Recent shootings and gun incidents at schools have sparked up a conversation about handling mental health.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is testing out a telepsychiatry program to help them handle those type of calls. Harris County Sergeant Raymond Lamelo and Deputy Jose Gomez are on the Factor to talk about it.

Joining the the discussion on the Factor is Kristin Anderson, a professor of psychology at the University of Houston Downtown. She's done research on profiles of shooters and their behaviors and mental states.
