Jennifer Aniston speaks out against pressure to have kids
Actress Jennifer Aniston says she has dealt with it for the better part of 15 years – the pressure to become a mother.
The 49-year-old recently spoke to Instyle Magazine where she said, “There is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they’re deemed damaged goods. Maybe my purpose on this planet isn’t to procreate. Maybe I have other things I’m supposed to do. It’s just old. We’ve done it. We’ve been there. Let’s move on.”
On the Factor to talk about this is psychologist Dr. Eric Storch from Baylor College of Medicine, nonprofit executive Tiffany Thomas and Sherea Cary, a professional caregiver.
