Houston shootout leads to SWAT scene

One person was injured and several others were questioned after an alleged shootout led to a SWAT scene near Houston's Washington Avenue on Saturday. FOX 26's Mekenna Earnhart was at the scene as the investigation continued.

HOUSTON - Several people are being questioned after an alleged shootout led to a SWAT scene near Houston's Washington Avenue on Saturday.

What we know:

The scene is at a condominium on Center Street, near Studemont Street and Washington Avenue.

An investigator says the incident started with a shootout at a short-term rental at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday. One person was shot, but she is expected to recover.

A SWAT team was eventually called to the scene, but the team left shortly before 4 p.m.

Several people were reportedly questioned at the scene.

What we don't know:

No one involved has been identified.

It's not clear if any arrests have been made at this time.
