HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has been named to the Associated Press First Team All-Pro, the AP announced today. This marks Stingley's first selection to the prestigious team.

Stingley, who started all 17 games this season, achieved career-high numbers across multiple categories. He recorded 54 total tackles, 18 passes defensed, and four tackles for loss. Additionally, he secured five interceptions for the second consecutive season.

With this honor, Stingley becomes the first cornerback in Texans franchise history to be named to the AP All-Pro First Team. He joins J.J.
