One person is dead and another is injured after a house fire in Houston.
HOUSTON - One person is dead and another is injured after a Houston house fire early Friday morning.

What we know:
The fire was reported around 1:40 a.m. on Lila Street near Russel Street. Officials say the flames were extinguished by 2:15 a.m.
The fire department says a 27-year-old man was found dead inside the home. A 26-year-old woman was also at the home and was sent to a hospital for minor injuries.
Based on an initial investigation, no foul play was detected.
What we don't know:
The identities of the civilians have not been released.
It’s also unclear how the fire started.

Investigators will determine how and where the fire started.
The medical examiner will confirm the identity and cause of death of the man who died.
