Houston crash: Driver's vehicle caught fire after hitting three others, police say

HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating a deadly crash involving multiple vehicles in the northwest Houston area.

What we know:
Around 7:52 a.m., officers responded to Bingle Road near U.S. 290 after reports of a deadly crash.
According to police, a 46-year-old man possibly suffered a medical episode as he was driving and crashed into the back of a red Altima. The driver hit two more vehicles before going off the road and hitting two trees.
He crashed into a building and the car caught fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of another vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
What we don't know:
The condition of the other drivers is unknown.
